Look at what we found ;)

We were looking at photo albums at Grandpa Jeromes and found this picture. We took it out of the album and took a pic with the digital camera. It looks like it could be a spread for Vogue or something of the sort(at least that is what the girls think). It is great in so many ways. We have not seen many pictures of Russ when he was little.

We got back to Wisconsin yesterday about 530 pm after leaving East Granby CT Wednesday afternoon. We stayed overnight in New York and drove the rest of the way Thursday. It was a good trip. We enjoyed our visits with everyone and got some great pictures. Highlights included a trip to Long Island Sound, visits with Russ's Grandpa, his Uncle John and his Dad. I will post lots of pictures tomorrow.

Money Pit................?

Yes, I think so. We have started the paperwork to purchase the duplex we have lived in for the last 14 years. Yea, go team Jerome! Uhh, bad news, nothing has been done on house for 14 years. We have our work cut out for us. Not only does it need updating, it needs some big ticket items, such as furnaces, roof, windows. Oh well, we are ready and making list after list. I will post a picture tomorrow. Goodnight all, sweet dreams.

Bad scooter!

My scooter with the bad "mojo" went to a new home last night. Not once did I feel any regret, lol.
I hope the new owners enjoy it and drive safely.

So easy, I KNOW Russ can do it!

Well, I tried the omlet in a plastic ziploc bag. It did not start out great because I only have the slider bags, but hey, I decided to give it a try. Then, I dropped an egg on the floor. Gross!


I finally managed to get two eggs in the bag, dropped it in the boiling water, set a timer and did the dishes. Thirteen minutes later and I had omlet. I am telling you, this is the best thing since sliced bread. The cheese was in the middle, melted, while the egg was done perfectly.


I did find out that you can use the bags with the sliders. No problem. Try it, you will definitely love it. I wonder if you could do this with egg substitute?
